Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Vaasa is seeking a Testing Specialist to perform routine, type and special tests on power transformers up to 400MVA and reactors up to 200MVAr. You will work in close contact with global customers during factory acceptance tests and contribute to a safe, efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience with electrical properties of power transformers and reactors is desirable.
• Ability to organize, prioritize tasks and work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Managing, planning and performing routine, type and special tests on power transformers up to 400MVA, 420kV and reactors up to 200MVAr, 420kV.
• Leading factory acceptance tests together with project managers in close contact with customers.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and following workplace safety guidelines.
