Job summary

Verda in Helsinki is offering full‑time Transaction Analyst Intern roles on our finance team for 2026–2027, working with senior leadership on live debt financing transactions. This fixed-term engagement (3–4 months) in Helsinki provides exposure to the full lifecycle of a debt raise from sourcing to closing.

Start as soon as possible in Fall 2026. Work alongside former investment bankers and private capital investors from London and New York, gaining hands-on experience in term sheet negotiation

Qualifications

• Prior experience from investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or similar; previous experience from financial modeling is considered an advantage
• 3+ years of academic studies in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Strong analytical mindset combined with fluent communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Support financial modeling and related analyses for debt financing transactions
• Assist with preparation of investor materials
• Contribute to due diligence processes and assist in guiding the work of the advisors
• Get hands-on exposure to term sheet negotiation and deal execution
• Work closely with senior finance leadership on a real, active capital raising program

About the role

We're offering full-time Transaction Analyst Intern roles on our finance team over 2026-2027, working directly alongside senior leadership on live debt financing transactions. The debt team consists of former investment bankers and private capital investors from London and New York. This is a fixed-term engagement (3-4 months) in Helsinki, offering exposure to the full lifecycle of a debt raise from early sourcing to negotiations, due diligence process, and ultimately through closing. Ideally, the first candidates can start as soon as possible over the course of the Fall 2026.

Your responsibilities
