Job summary

Nokia’s Technology Standards group invites a paid, full-time trainee to Espoo for 6–12 months. You will split focus between building reliable data foundations and turning data into actionable insights for investment decisions.

Flexible start date between January and summer 2027, with a deadline of 30 November 2026. We welcome applicants from any academic field; strong curiosity, clear explanations, and ability to work with complex data are valued.

Qualifications

• Interest in data, business, and finance.
• Systematic, detail-oriented approach and curiosity to investigate.
• Ability to work independently with complex data and derive insights.
• Working English, written and spoken with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Turn complex patent portfolio and financial data into analysis to support decisions.
• Build reliable data foundations, data pipelines, and practical tools.
• Analyse portfolio and financial data to support investment modelling and scenario analysis.
• Present findings clearly with reliability and implications for decisions.
