Job summary

Sandvik in Tampere (Myllypuro) is seeking a Test Mine Development Engineer to lead the roadmap for our Test Mine development portfolio and manage projects end-to-end.

You will collaborate with a multi-national team across product lines and testing facilities, host visitors, and coordinate subcontractors while applying mining expertise.

Fluent English and Finnish are required, with hands-on drilling experience and a blasting license enabling practical operations in our facilities.

Qualifications

• Suitable technical education in mining engineering.
• Several years working experience in real mine.
• Hands on experience on drilling.
• Valid blasting license.
• Understanding of mining processes and mine operations.
• Experience with mine designing tools is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Finnish language skill is must in our working environment.
• Continuous development mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive, develop and own the roadmap of Test Mine's development portfolio.
• Run projects and activities as a Project Manager.
• Support Product Lines testing, host visitors and manage subcontractors as part of Test Mine management team.
