Job summary

Junttan Oy, located in Kuopio, Finland, seeks a Test Engineer to join the R&D and Product Management team. You will design test environments, validate electrics, hydraulics and automation for our advanced machine control systems, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product and software quality.

You will work with state-of-the-art digital twins and real machines, helping to ensure high-quality machine control features for Junttan piling equipment while coordinating

Qualifications

• Base level software development skills.
• Base level understanding of hydraulic, electric and mechanical systems.
• Base level understanding of CAN bus–based machine control systems.
• Knowledge of ALM tools (e.g Polarion, Jira).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree of Applied Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Finnish, and readiness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test environments.
• Design and develop test plans and test cases based on specification.
• Execute and document test runs.
• Analyze issues and report defects.
• Validate user manuals.
• Support sales, manufacturing, supply, and service teams with technical expertise.
