Job summary

OiTec Oy in Tampere is seeking a hands-on HW Test Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will focus on technical support, troubleshooting and practical problem-solving for test and automation projects, while taking ownership from investigation through commissioning.

You will work with customers and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to electronics and electrical design for new and existing test systems and supporting multiple sites. Fluency in Finnish and English is valued.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in electronics and electrical design, including relevant CAD tools.
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes.
• A systematic and practical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Ability to take ownership and manage changing priorities.
• Good collaboration and communication skills in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical support cases related to test systems, electronics and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug electronics, electrical systems and test equipment.
• Support customers and production operations in resolving technical issues.
• Coordinate problem-solving with electronics, software, mechanical and automation engineers.
• Document findings and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into future designs.
• Design electronics and electrification and related documentation for test systems.
• Develop modifications and improvements for existing systems.
• Participate in system integration, testing and commissioning.
• Support production operations in different manufacturing locations.
• Participate in project planning and technical reviews.
• Cooperate closely with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
