Job summary

Nokia is seeking a Specialist, Test SW Engineering to join our team in Oulu, Finland. You will design and implement automated test software for production globally, upholding high quality and performance while collaborating with R&D and production teams.

The ideal candidate has strong OO development experience, C# proficiency, OpenTAP exposure, and fluent communication. On-site presence in Oulu is required.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in object-oriented software development.
• Proficiency in C# and version control. Other languages are a plus
• Experience with test automation development (OpenTAP)
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Valid passport from a NATO member country

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test solutions for production environments with C#.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with colleagues globally for resolution. Troubleshoot issues in lab, Oulu NPI and EMS factories when required.
• Contribute to quality metrics, test coverage analysis, and continuous quality improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices in C# and test sequence creation with OpenTAP.
