Job summary

Wolt is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Engineer to join our Tax Data Mart team. You will design, implement and operate data pipelines and related processes to support tax analytics for Deliveroo and Wolt entities, ensuring data quality and availability for analytics and business users.

You’ll report to the Senior Manager of Tax Data & Operations and collaborate with Analytics, Data Science and business partners to scale data services as the company grows, leveraging AI-assisted tooling to

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in a Tax data & technology or similar role.
Experience using DBT or a similar product to manage data flows.
Experience using Claude, Cursor and similar AI tools.
You are an expert at using SQL with Snowflake.
Proficiency in Python for building data pipelines.
Experience with modern data stack and orchestration tools such as Airflow, Spark, or Kafka.
Strong attention to detail and analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
You’re independently motivated with ability to manage multiple projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
CS/IT/Engineering degree or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead the collection of Tax Data and Reporting requirements through close relationships with Tax team counterparts.
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) that serve data across the company.
Develop and optimize data models and warehouse structures for analytics and reporting.
Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science and business partners on new data sources.
Document business, functional and technical requirements for new initiatives.
Leverage AI tooling to automate recurring data tasks and pipelines.
Monitor data quality, reliability, and observability, and resolve data-related issues.
