Wolt is hiring an experienced Data Analytics Engineer for the Tax Data Mart team. You will own data ingestion, transformation, and controls to empower analytics across the company.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of experience in a Tax data & technology or similar role.
• Experience using DBT or a similar product to manage data flows.
• Experience using Claude, Cursor and similar AI tools.
• Expert at SQL with Snowflake experience.
• Proficiency in Python for building data pipelines.
• Experience with modern data stack and orchestration tools like Airflow, Spark, or Kafka.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Independent, able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management experience with plans, milestones, and deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Lead the collection of Tax Data and Reporting requirements through close relationships with Tax teams.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) across the company.
• Develop and optimize data models and warehouse structures for analytics and reporting.
• Identify impact of new business initiatives on data systems and processes.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and business partners on new data sources.
• Document business, functional, and technical requirements for initiatives.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to automate recurring data tasks and pipelines.
• Monitor data quality, reliability, and observability; resolve data issues.
• Define and maintain the Company’s data tooling needs and systems.
• Prepare documentation for data systems and processes; share best practices.
