Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Director, Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions to shape the long-term direction of the Underground Drilling Division. The role is based in Tampere, Finland or Lyon, France, reporting to the President of Underground Drilling and collaborating with the Division Management Team.

You will drive strategy development, execution, and performance follow-up, while identifying growth through automation, digitalization, and electrification. International travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience translating strategy into actionable plans at senior level.
• Proven M&A experience and ability to drive growth initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, execution, and review of the Underground Drilling Division strategy.
• Ensure alignment with Business Area Mining and Sandvik-wide strategy.
• Coordinate strategy reporting, communications, and performance follow-up.
• Identify and lead mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic options.
• Monitor market trends and translate insights into strategic actions.
