Metso Outotec Australia is seeking an experienced Sourcing/Procurement leader to strengthen our supplier base and drive strategic sourcing initiatives. You will develop and manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and partner with global teams to secure value, quality and timely delivery across heavy fabrication, casting and transmission components.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Sourcing/Procurement of heavy fabricated‑machined parts and assemblies.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in managing sourcing projects with local and global vendors.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence and resolve disputes.
• Experience working with international stakeholders and understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsabilités

• Maximise supplier performance across a consolidated supplier base to meet business objectives.
• Develop and lead a structured supplier relationship management program for critical suppliers.
• Lead strategic supplier selection, qualification and development with internal and global teams.
• Develop short/long term sources of supply agreements and contracts.
• Lead supplier negotiations to improve terms, cost, lead time and risk mitigation.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and savings pipeline with key stakeholders.
• Align with internal departments to understand needs and provide strategic procurement support.
• Collaborate on strategic category plans and implement sourcing initiatives.
