Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy seeks a strategic sourcing professional to own indirect material and service categories, managing substantial annual spend. You will develop and implement category strategies within a global network to optimize supplier performance and drive organizational value.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of international sourcing or SCM experience.
• Strong commercial/financial understanding, negotiation skills, and knowledge of contract law and Incoterms.
• Fluent English; Finnish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end strategic sourcing for indirect categories.
• Lead RFQ processes for indirect materials and services.
• Negotiate contracts and prices with international suppliers.
• Map supplier markets to identify opportunities.
• Develop and implement category strategies and sourcing processes.
• Monitor supplier compliance with quality, legislation and sustainability.
• Perform spend analyses to drive data-based decisions.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across R&D, Sales and Marketing.
