Job summary

Wärtsilä Corporation Energy Storage is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead financial controlling and accounting practices for the local legal entity in Finland. The role covers statutory reporting, IFRS compliance, tax matters, and coordination with global process owners to ensure accurate financial position and transparent governance.

Preferred location is Vaasa, with Helsinki or Turku also considered.

Qualifications

• Experience with Financial Statutory Accounting and IFRS.
• Knowledge of local tax laws and corporate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial reporting for the local legal entity.
• Coordinate external and internal audits and control reporting.
• Prepare quarterly financial figures and tax notes.
• Support cross-border finance activities and statutory compliance.
• Provide input for financial reviews with the Board.
