Job description

A seasoned controller who wants to grow into a business controller role at a major, publicly listed company. We are seeking a controller for Elisa’s Finance unit, based in Helsinki Pasila. The position is about monthly financial reporting, analysis, forecasts, and budgeting for assigned areas, in collaboration with business units. You will gain exposure to the Home Market area (Finland and Estonia) in fiber construction, and you will advise department heads in decision making, participate in development projects and strategy work. You will work with a broad team of professionals and colleagues, primarily in the Helsinki Pasila office, with an average of three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities include partnering with operations to deliver accurate financial insights and supporting management with insights and recommendations. The role requires proactive collaboration, strong Excel skills, and experience with financial and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Anaplan, QlikView, Power BI). You’ll need to communicate fluently in Finnish and English, and be able to work independently, adapt to fast-paced environments, and apply AI-enabled processes to improve ways of working.
