Zusammenfassung

Mozilla is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Tools & Systems to design, build, deploy, and operate internal tooling and production systems that support Firefox engineering. You will contribute to CI/CD, workflow automation, and AI-assisted development tools while owning complex problems across software and cloud layers.

You will work across disciplines to improve reliability, performance, observability, and cost efficiency, using telemetry and data to guide architectural decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Strong software engineering skills with production systems experience.
• Experience with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript; C++ or Rust is a plus.
• Experience deploying and operating production systems in cloud environments; infrastructure as code like Terraform.
• Experience across CI/CD, containers/orchestration, networking, observability, or developer tooling.
• Experience using data, telemetry, and metrics to investigate problems and guide decisions.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and their use.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, deploy, and operate software and systems supporting Firefox engineering.
• Contribute to developer tooling, CI/CD, workflow automation, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Own complex technical problems end-to-end across software, cloud, and operations to improve reliability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Firefox engineering, Cloud Engineering, IT, and other teams on cross-cutting issues.
• Use telemetry and metrics to investigate problems and guide decisions.
• Contribute to architectures and technical strategy across teams.
