Mozilla Corporation is seeking a security-focused systems programmer to design and implement hardening features for Firefox across multiple operating systems. You will contribute to the security architecture, strengthen cryptographic protocols, and ship robust fixes in collaboration with several teams.

We expect 3+ years of low-level software engineering, proficiency in C/C++, and familiarity with web tech and Rust. This remote Finland role offers strong compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in low-level software engineering with a focus on security.
• Strong proficiency in C and/or C++ and solid security fundamentals.
• Experience debugging multithreaded, cross-platform native applications.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and interest or experience in Rust.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and implement security and hardening features for enterprise users across Firefox OSes.
• Advance Firefox’s security architecture by improving core mechanisms and cryptographic protocols.
• Investigate security issues, identify root causes, and deliver robust fixes in collaboration with teams.
• Improve browser reliability and performance by diagnosing and resolving issues in a complex environment.
