Job summary

Mozilla Corporation is seeking an Incident Responder to monitor and mitigate attacks across Mozilla’s products and services on a remote Finland basis. You will join a flexible team handling security incidents in a fast-paced environment, requiring years of practical security experience and the ability to respond quickly with excellent communication and collaboration.

You will help safeguard Mozilla’s users and products by applying state-of-the-art detection and response techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years leading security incidents globally.
• Experience with SIEM platforms (ELK, Splunk, BigQuery).
• Hands-on with endpoint detection and investigation (EDR).
• Experience with SOAR platforms (Tines, Splunk SOAR).
• Strong communication and leadership across stakeholders.
• Background in software development or engineering operations.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure, Heroku).

Responsibilities

• Identify and respond to security incidents globally.
• Act as incident commander across the response lifecycle.
• Develop alerts, playbooks, and escalation workflows for 24/7 IR.
• Perform threat hunting and maintain advanced defense strategies.
• Review threat intel and manage related workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve preparedness and response.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
