Job summary

Bittium is expanding its AI Office with new Members of Technical Staff to push AI-native capabilities across products used by defence, healthcare and public authorities. You will shape AI infra, build agent harnesses, and align models for battlefield-ready reliability.

You will collaborate with legal, finance, sales and R&D to identify where AI adds value, deploy fast, and ensure safeguards. Fluency in English and Finnish required.

Qualifications

• Mastery of prompting, context handling and multi-agent orchestration for real software.
• Experience building AI-driven products with opinions on agent development方向.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills across frontend, APIs, databases, auth and deployment.
• Solid software fundamentals: architecture, data modelling, testing, Linux networking.
• Vision to spot automation opportunities and work with non-engineers.
• Proficiency in English; Finnish working ability required.

Responsibilities

• Shape AI takeoff: focus on models, hardware, tools and industry direction.
• Collaborate across legal, finance, sales, R&D or production to build AI work.
• Develop and scale our AI infra and applications on GPUs with fast iteration.
• Build the AI that our products run on, keeping safeguards in production.
• Post-train open-weights models and compare to general-purpose baselines.
• Ensure agents remain safe to trust with proper alignment and boundaries.
