Job summary

Nokia in Finland seeks a Test Maintenance Engineer to work on RF and BB production test environments. You will support production testing, investigate defects and collaborate with factories, repair sites, QA and R&D.

Own test applications, drive improvements from logs and measurements, and participate in product transfers with tester validation and on-site support. Travel readiness preferred; strong cross-functional communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with RF and BB production test environments in an international setting.

• Act as Test Application Owner for assigned production test applications (SW/HW).
• Provide daily support to factories and repair sites on testing.
• Coordinate test application changes with controlled rollout to factories and repair sites.
• Support failure investigation and RCA with QA, R&D and factories.
• Participate in product transfer projects with tester validation and on-site support.

As part of the global Test Maintenance Engineering team, you will work with the latest RF and BB products and modern test technologies in an international environment.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• As part of the global Test Maintenance Engineering team, you will work with the latest RF and BB products and modern test technologies in an international environment.
• You will ensure that production testing is stable, efficient, and capable of detecting manufacturing-related defects while supporting production quality, throughput and delivery performance.
• Act as Test Application Owner for assigned production test applications (SW/HW), ensuring production testing provides adequate coverage to detect manufacturing-related defects
• Provide daily support to factories and repair sites in technical issues in testing.
• Coordinate and implement test application changes with controlled rollout to factories and repair sites.
• Support failure investigation and root cause analysis (RCA) of production testing issues in collaboration with factories, repair sites, quality and R&D.
• Participate in product transfer projects by verifying testers, providing tester training and on-site support, if needed.

Key Skills And Experience

Must-have

• Experience with RF/Baseband production functional testing or extended (system-level) production testing, including HW/SW interaction.
• Strong knowledge of RF and digital technologies and measurement techniques
• Capability to drive improvements in test applications based on test logs, measurements and test SW source code
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional and multi-cultural environments.
• Readiness for travelling, if needed

• Ability to analyze, modify and maintain source code in C, C# and Python.
• Ability to analyze BTS logs and snapshots
