Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or supplier management.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken Finnish and English.
• Experience in analysing sourcing, supplier or commercial data using Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for assigned sourcing categories supporting projects and production throughout the product lifecycle.
• Continuously assess the competitiveness, capability, capacity and risk profile of the supplier portfolio.
• Develop and maintain long‑term supplier relationships, in close co‑operation with internal stakeholders.
• Lead sourcing activities, including RFQs, quotation evaluation, commercial negotiations and supplier agreement management.
• Monitor market trends, component availability, lead times, pricing and obsolescence risks within the assigned categories.
• Identify and drive opportunities for cost efficiency, supplier development and supply‑chain resilience.
• Ensure compliance with Saab’s sourcing strategy, policies, procedures and applicable requirements.
