Job summary

SEB is seeking a Solution Developer (C++) to join the SEBIS Bank Systems department. You will maintain a Linux-based banking platform serving SEB’s international network across twelve geographies, focusing on availability, security and performance.

You will work with legacy code and new technologies, using AI-powered tools to improve development efficiency and operational excellence. Remote work options are available in a flexible schedule.

We are looking for a Solution Developer C++ to join the SEBIS Bank Systems department.

The department is part of Core Ledgers area within CIB Tech (Corporate, Investment Banking & Wealth Tech), and our main stakeholders can be found in both Accounts and Payments.

About the role

As a Solution Developer, you will join an experienced Technology team responsible for a business-critical banking platform serving SEB’s international network across twelve geographies.

You will play an important role in maintaining, enhancing, and evolving a Linux-based application where high availability, security, reliability, and performance are essential.

If you are used to working with legacy code as well as curious about emerging technologies and interested in leveraging AI-powered tools to improve development efficiency and operational excellence, then you are a perfect fit for us.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• Experience in developing and operating high-quality software
• Analytical skills and knowledge to handle complex information
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership
• Experience in C/C++, Linux and Git
• Additional knowledge in Visual Studio, GitHub CoPilot, Scripting (bash, Python), Kafka, MQ, Oracle, Angular, Jenkins, IT Security
• Experience using LLMs as part of your development workflow,either professionally or through personal projects.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in both Swedish and English
