Job summary

SEB Finland is seeking a Senior Solution Developer with 10+ years of mainframe expertise to support fellow developers and drive a better developer experience. You will work within a collaborative team and focus on delivering high-value mainframe solutions with a business-oriented approach.

You will use Cobol, JCL, Db2/SQL and related technologies, while also exploring non-mainframe options like Linux, Docker, and API development to modernize our stack.

About the role:

As a Senior Solution Developer,you'llapply your 10+ years of mainframeexpertise, comfortably supporting other developers and driving improved developer experience. Your role will embody customer focusand deliverhigh-value results with a business-oriented approach.As part of a team,you'llhelpdriveinnovationand continuous improvement while contributing to your and your colleague's skill development and strong cross-team collaboration.In this role,you'llfocus on improving efficiency and delivering high-quality solutions, working with technologies such as Cobol, JCL, and Db2/SQL. Experience with Assembler, REXX, System Programming,Easytrieve, SEB C/S, DHS, and testing is highly valued, as is knowledge of non-mainframe technologies such as Linux, Docker, and API development.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• Over 10 years of robust mainframe experience, proficient in Cobol, JCL, and Db2/SQL.
• Solid understanding of Assembler, REXX, System Programmer experience, or non-mainframe technologies (Linux, Docker, API development).
