We are expanding our R&D team within our Cellular IoT units and the digital group is looking to recruit a junior SoC Verification Engineer. In this position you will be involved in the development of Nordic Semiconductor's next generation of world-leading ultra-low power chips, with focus on RTL design, IP integration and verification. We are also embracing AI-driven methodologies to increase verification efficiency, coverage closure and quality.
Nordic's digital designers have expertise in various low-power short- and long-range wireless standards and low-power microcontrollers. Using cutting-edge design techniques to achieve high performance at extremely low power is of paramount importance. We operate as focused individuals on highly specialized projects, and come together as a cohesive team, in which our skill-sets, passions and expertise feed into our enhanced collective excellence.

Embedded C code or writing CPU-centric tests using C code.
Coverage definition, implementation and analysis.
Test bench and test case generation using Verilog, SystemVerilog & UVM.
Reading, understanding and debugging RTL written in HDLs (Verilog, SystemVerilog) and root-cause analysis.
Applying AI based tools and techniques to improve verification productivity, e.g. AI-assisted test and testbench generation, intelligent regression management, automated failure triage and accelerated coverage closure.
MSc in electrical engineering or equivalent, or Bachelor with industrial experience.
Strong knowledge of coverage-based verification, assertion-based, and formal verification techniques.
Solid working knowledge of HDLs such as Verilog, SystemVerilog and/or VHDL, including SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA).
Good debugging skills.
Programming background in low-level and script-based languages, e.g. C, C++, Python, Perl is a plus.
