Job summary

If Insurance is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our Nordic team, helping design and implement IT and business solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Based in Stockholm or Turku, you will collaborate with remote teams and IT and business units to develop and upgrade ServiceNow capabilities, including ITSM, CMDB, UI Builder, Flow, and AI features.

We value a ServiceNow Foundation Certification and a Bachelor's degree, plus 2–3 years of hands-on experience; this role offers hybrid work,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science & IT or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience with ServiceNow configuration, development, design and architecture.
• ServiceNow Foundation Certification is required.
• Proven ability to analyze business needs and implement via out-of-box or scoped Applications.
• Fluency in English; local Nordic language knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with remote teams and clients across Nordic countries.
• Develop and enhance ServiceNow capabilities and upgrade the platform twice a year.
• Work on ITSM, CMDB, APP Engine, AI capabilities and Risk areas.
• Develop custom items, features, and workflows to satisfy business needs.

We are looking for a person to take a Nordic role as a Developer for ServiceNow implementation at If.

About The Team

The workflow platform team is a subdivision of the IT Operations unit within If IT and is responsible for the ServiceNow implementation at If. Our team is located in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Turku and Riga. We are a team with both developers and Solution Architects, supporting and giving value to our Business and IT.

Our team works with process improvements, solution design, problem solving, development and transformation projects that range in scope and business areas. We will work together as a team to find the most effective way of working and by that continue to digitalize our business processes and increase usability.

About The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with remote teams and clients
• Work closely with IT and Business teams to develop and enhance ServiceNow capabilities & upgrade our platform 2 times per year
• Use your experience in areas like ITSM, CMDB, APP Engine, AI capabilities and Risk
• Develop custom items, features, and workflows to satisfy business needs
• Evolve the usage and develop with Flow, UI Builder, Mobile App, ServiceNow Studio, AI Agents, AI Skills och Chat Assistants.
• Design and develop queries, reports, forms and dashboards
• Administer ServiceNow applications, including updating security and workflow configurations
• Assist importing data and creating custom scripts as well as Integrations

Who you are

As a Person, We Prefer That You

• Hold at least a bachelordegree in Business Management, Computer Science & IT or a related field
• Have minimum 2-3 years of experience working with ServiceNow configuration, development, design and architecture
• Possess a ServiceNow Foundation Certification
• Are a proven problem solver with experience of structuring & analyzing business needs and concluding recommendations on how these needs can be met, using ServiceNow Out-of-box functionality and/or scoped applications
• Are a charming and responsive social networker
• Are an inspiring person that is forward-thinking, a visionary and driven
• Can communicate and collaborate effectively (both vocally and visually) within both Business and IT colleagues
• Work independently as well as in a team
• Have broad technical knowledge with a 'curious-george' instinct wanting to continuously learn more
• Are dedicated to building an inspiring working environment
• Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of a local language is considered an advantage, as internal communication primarily takes place in Nordic and Latvian languages

Locations:

The role will be located in Stockholm (Sweden) or Turku (Finland). Some travel will be required since the role has responsibility throughout the countries in which If operates.
