Job summary

SOL Palvelut Oy in Jyväskylä seeks a part-time Service Supervisor for a preschool unit. You will manage cleaning of break rooms, corridors and sanitary facilities in a small unit. The contract runs temporarily with a start as soon as a suitable candidate is found and ends on 31 January 2027, with potential extension.

Shifts are weekdays 16:00–18:35; total weekly hours 13. Salary is €12.59 per hour and follows the property services collective agreement, pay group 2.

Qualifications

• Friendly customer service mindset and good interpersonal skills are required.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to shifts and changes are essential.
• At least 18 years old and able to communicate in Finnish.
• Previous experience in similar cleaning tasks is preferred.
• Cleaning education is appreciated but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Wash and disinfect toilets and sinks.
• Sweep floors, mop, and perform general cleaning tasks.
• Empty waste bins and sort waste.
• Wipe surfaces and maintain cleanliness of storage areas.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and replenish cleaning agents.
• Report damages or maintenance needs to supervisor.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled SERVICE SUPERVISOR for a preschool unit cleaning duties, temporary, part-time position. It is a small unit where you are responsible for cleaning break rooms, corridors and sanitary facilities.

Responsibilities

• washing and disinfecting toilets and sinks
• sweeping floors, mopping and other cleaning
• emptying waste bins and sorting waste
• wiping surfaces
• maintaining cleaning equipment, resupplying cleaning agents and keeping the storage area tidy
• reporting any damages or maintenance needs to your supervisor

Job location: Jyväskylä, Keljonkangas. The contract starts as soon as a suitable person is found and ends on 31 January 2027. Possible extension negotiable. Shifts on weekdays from 16:00 to 18:35. Weekly hours total 13.

Requirements
