Job summary

Folka Henkilöstöpalvelut in Jokela seeks an evening shift cleaner to tidy public areas, offices, meeting spaces, staff social areas, stairwells and corridors. Tasks include vacuuming, mopping floors, and thorough cleaning of sanitary facilities.

The role runs 16:00-19:00, Monday to Friday, with 15-20 hours per week. A brief security clearance will be conducted; a clean background and 18+ years of age are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning tasks is advantageous.
• Finnish language ability at least B1 level.

• Vacuum and mop floors in public areas, offices, and meeting spaces.
• Clean and sanitize sanitary facilities and wipe surfaces.

Job description

We are seeking a capable cleaner to join our team for an evening shift at Jokela. The role involves cleaning public areas of the site, office and meeting spaces, staff social areas, stairwells and corridors. Tasks include vacuuming and mopping floors, thorough cleaning of sanitary facilities, emptying trash bins and wiping surfaces in line with the site’s daily cleaning program. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 16:00-19:00, with 15-20 hours per week. This is a high-security site and a brief security clearance will be conducted for the chosen applicant. We require a clean background and at least 18 years of age, Finnish language skills at least B1 level (preferably higher), and the ability to communicate with staff in Finnish. A driving licence and own car are preferred as it facilitates commuting. Experience in cleaning tasks and/or cleaning qualifications is an advantage.

Pay follows the Facilities Service sector collective agreement, pay grade 2 (12.26 €/h). Start date as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
