Job summary

Palmia Oy is seeking a service designer for cleaning services to strengthen our sales team. The role focuses on mapping needs, sizing sites, and performing cost and tender calculations, while producing tender materials and cleaning plans.

You will visit sites and develop tenders with staffing requirements, complete pricing appendices, and present tenders. The role integrates with our sales and marketing team in a hybrid workplace near Käpylä/Metsälä, with travel and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a service designer for cleaning services to strengthen our sales team. If you enjoy a versatile expert role and know the cleaning services business like the back of your hand, you could be the person we are looking for!

Responsibilities

• As a service designer for cleaning services, your desk will include mapping the needs and sizing of new sites, as well as cost and tender calculation.
• With your previous work experience and strong industry knowledge, you produce tender materials in the form of cleaning plans and service descriptions.
• You will visit new potential customer sites on site visits, and based on these, you will develop plans for tenders, including staffing levels and the expertise required for the site.
• You will use the information obtained from site visits in the tender calculation, which you will work on together with internal stakeholders.
• In addition to tender calculation, completing pricing appendices and tender presentations are on your desk.
• In this role, you will be able to utilize your broad understanding of both cleaning services and calculation.
• You will become part of our sales and marketing team and work closely with cleaning services experts.
• The work is permanent and full-time.

Succeed with us:

• Success in the position requires previous work experience in cleaning services, for example in the role of a service manager or service coordinator, and at least two years of work experience in sizing and planning tasks.
• Your educational background should be a specialist vocational qualification in cleaning technology, a university of applied sciences degree, or a specialist vocational qualification in the cleaning and property sector.
• We hope that you have a good command of Excel, as it is your most important tool in the position.
• You communicate fluently orally and in writing in Finnish and English.
• You have the ability to perceive wholes and can notice even small details.
• Working in the position requires a willingness to travel to our customer sites, so a B-driver's license and the possibility of using your own car are considered an advantage.
• We pay appropriate mileage allowances for travel time.
• A basic security clearance will be carried out for the person selected for the position.
