Zusammenfassung

Vaisala in Vantaa, Finland seeks a Service Contract Manager to join our PCS team and shape a new global role by building scalable subcontractor partnerships that support the growth, profitability and international development of Vaisala's service business.

You will work to develop a globally scalable subcontractor model and collaborate with the Service, Field Operations, Project, Customer Care and Subcontractor teams across Europe and the Americas, reporting to Manager, CareTech.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in project, service or contract management.
• Education in project management, business or engineering is an advantage.
• Experience with subcontractors, vendors or service partners.
• Strong commercial negotiation and understanding of costs and profitability.
• Ability to manage several partners and workstreams.
• Strong customer and stakeholder communication skills.

We are looking for a Service Contract Manager to join our Project, CareTech & Services (PCS) team at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. What's your role?

You will be part of our PCS team of strong professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to build and develop a globally scalable subcontractor model that supports Vaisala’s service business growth. In this role, you will be working in a close co-operation with the Service, Field Operations, Project, Customer Care and Subcontractor team across Europe and the Americas. You will report to Manager, CareTech.

Your responsibilities include:

• Build and develop Vaisala’s global subcontractor network and operating model
• Create consistent practices for subcontractor agreements, pricing and scopes of work
• Ensure subcontractors deliver services according to customer contracts, quality expectations and SLA requirements
• Follow up on subcontractor readiness, training, work progression, reporting and related operational needs
• Support cost-effective service delivery, cost savings and service contract profitability
• Build long-term relationships with service partners and customers

What will you bring?

• Experience in project, service or contract management
• Relevant education in project management, business or engineering or a related field is an advantage
• Experience with subcontractors, vendors or service partners
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and understanding of costs and service profitability
• Ability to manager several partners and workstreams
• Strong customer and stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to build clear processes and ways of working
