Job summary

UPM is seeking a Manager, Treasury Accounting to lead treasury accounting in Helsinki. The role focuses on IFRS and Finnish standards, supporting budgeting, back-office activities, and system maintenance within a multinational treasury operation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, strong English skills, and familiarity with treasury systems, with Finnish language skills considered an asset. The position offers a meaningful role within a globally responsible employer.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Finnish Accounting Standards.
• Basic understanding of financial instruments and derivatives.
• Ability and motivation to learn and maintain Treasury systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Finnish and other languages are assets.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility of Treasury accounting in accordance with IFRS and Finnish Accounting Standards.
• Contribute to Group level IFRS and Finnish Accounting Standards reporting.
• Provide support for Treasury accounting, budgeting and Back-office activities.
• Maintain accounting setup in Treasury Risk Management system and participate in development of the system.
• Collaborate with the entire Treasury team, as well as Finance and Tax operations.
