Job summary

Fazer is seeking a Senior Specialist, Analytics & AI to advance commercial decision-making through data-driven insights. You will lead two focus areas: Power BI reporting and AI development, collaborating with sales, controlling and ICT to deliver measurable business impact across Fazer markets.

The role is permanent and based in Finland, with onsite work in Vantaa or Lappeenranta, and offers an annual bonus plan.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Power BI, data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Experience in Retail/sales reporting or FMCG analytics is advantageous.
• 2+ years hands-on in reporting and analytics solutions.
• University degree in a business or technical field (BSc/MSc).
• Fluent English and Finnish language skills.

Senior Specialist, Analytics & AI

We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Analytics & AI to join Fazer Group and GCO (Group Commercial Organization) in developing commercial analytics, reporting, and AI-powered insights that support business growth across Fazer markets. In this role, you will combine data, technology, and business understanding to help commercial teams make smarter decisions and unlock new opportunities through advanced analytics.

Your role consists of two focus areas:

Commercial Data Modelling & Power BI Reporting

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining commercial analytics solutions, data models, dashboards, and KPIs that support organisation and sales performance management and decision-making.

• Contribute to the development of Fazer Group and GCO reporting solutions in Power BI
• Ensure high-quality, user-friendly, and reliable reporting solutions
• Support stakeholders across markets on gathering and prioritizing business reporting needs
• Drive continuous improvements in reporting standards and governance

AI & Advanced Analytics Development

You will support bringing AI and advanced analytics into everyday commercial decision-making.

• Designing and developing AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics use cases
• Building solutions that improve forecasting, performance understanding, and commercial effectiveness
• Supporting campaign, customer, profitability, and sales analytics initiatives
• Evaluating new technologies and analytics opportunities

In this position you will be working actively in collaboration with sales, controlling, ICT, data teams and external partners. You will report to Fazer Group’s Controlling Development Manager. The position is permanent and located in Vantaa or Lappeenranta, where we mainly work onsite in our office.

The role in question is a salaried position under the collective agreement for salaried employees in the food industry. The base salary of this position is between 4500 € - 5000 € / month depending on the knowledge and professional experience of the selected candidate. This role is eligible for annual bonus plan (as confirmed each year separately by Fazer) with a target level earning potential of 10 % of annual salary. In addition, we offer a range of benefits including for example discounts to Fazer products and well-being benefits such as ePassi.

What will you bring to the team?

You can translate business needs into meaningful analytics and actionable insights that support decision-making. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills; you communicate effectively with stakeholders across functions. You are comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with colleagues across the organization.

We expect you to have:

• Strong experience with Power BI, data modelling, DAX, and Power Query
• Understanding of/ experience in Retail sales reporting, commercial operations reporting, FMCG reporting, or field sales analytics is considered an advantage.
• Experience with the Snowflake Data Cloud or a comparable platform, including developing AI and machine learning use cases within that environment
• Experience in business intelligence, analytics development, and data-driven decision-making and at least two years of hands-on experience in developing reporting and analytics solutions.
• A relevant university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) in a business or technical field, such as Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, or Industrial Engineering and Management.
• Fluent English and Finnish language skills
