Job summary

Nortal is seeking a Solution Architect to join our enterprise projects and guide digital transformation in complex environments. You’ll collaborate with customers and Nortal teams to translate business needs into high-value solutions, shaping architectures and driving stakeholder alignment.

In this role you’ll work with Azure, MS Fabric, C#, React, and API management to define architectures, manage backlogs, and deliver documentation and guidance. Remote-friendly, with growth and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Understand business needs and ways of working for smooth collaboration.
• Discuss software and data architectures, integrations, and AI at an architectural level.
• Hands-on coding experience at some stage.
• Ownership mindset to drive initiatives forward.
• Consultant-like, proactive, client-facing, asks questions.
• Excellent communication in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in digital transformation across data modelling, architecture, integrations, platform modernization, and AI solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable requirements.
• Translate architectural directions into guidance for development teams.
• Own and prioritize the backlog aligning business value with feasibility.
• Produce documentation, diagrams, notes, and decision records.
• Work with Nortal colleagues across teams.
• Collaborate with developers to clarify technical implications even without coding.
