Job summary

Mozilla Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help modernize the Add-ons stack, including DevHub, Reviewer tools, and automated moderation pipelines. You will work with Python/Django, MySQL, React/TypeScript, and async processing to deliver scalable, observable production services that millions use worldwide.

You’ll contribute to engineering standards, runbooks, and incident response while partnering with engineers, reviewers, developer support, and leadership.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Python/Django production apps.
Experience running reliable, scalable production systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD and declarative infrastructure.
Strong observability: metrics, logs, tracing, SLOs.
Ability to read unfamiliar codebases and diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

Deliver major features and architectural improvements for Add-ons.
Improve CI/CD pipelines and runbooks for production readiness.
Develop robust monitoring and data-backed insights.
Collaborate with designers, PMs, QA, and community contributors.
Write design notes, ADRs, and incident reports.
