Job summary

Evondos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the R&D software team in a Scrum setting. You will build secure, scalable backend services powering our medication management platform and contribute to a modern cloud-native strategy.

The role offers hybrid work and collaboration across Finland and the Netherlands. You will design and implement backend services using Kotlin and Python, mentor peers, and drive architectural improvements in a distributed service-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Kotlin and/or Python.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
• A strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Experience with cloud-native development, containerised applications, and modern deployment practices.
• A collaborative, hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Fluent English communication skills

About The Team & The Role

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Evondos' R&D software team. Practical Details

Location: the role can be based either in the Netherlands (Zoetermeer) or in Finland (Helsinki area or Salo).

Work model: Hybrid and flexible. In the Netherlands, the team regularly meet together at our Zoetermeer office. In Finland, the software team works primarily remotely, with occasional in-person collaboration at our Helsinki or Salo offices.
