Posti Group Oyj is seeking a Senior Software Developer to strengthen our Operations domain. You will design and build high quality backend services in Python on AWS, collaborating with product owners and cross-functional teams.

We are now looking for a Senior Software Developer

The person we are looking for has a strong background in developing high quality backend services with Python and AWS. In this position you will play a key role in our Operations domain services working on Posti's core capabilities. You will be working closely with our product owners, domain owners and cross-teams.

We Hope That You Have

• You have previous experience with software development, architecture ownership on the backend. We are using: Python, AWS on the backend side and React/TS on the frontend.
• Familiarity building with LLMs, such as integrating models via APIs, agent and LLM orchestration, MCP servers or RAG, and an interest in bringing AI into how we build software.
• You also have experience with various areas of the software development life-cycle, starting from requirements to software development, building, testing, deploying, security and maintaining.
• You will get extra points if you also have experience with any of the following technologies/concepts: Order management, AI, Java, AWS CDK, AppSync, Clojure, Typescript, logistics industry.
• You have the relevant education e.g. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar
• As a motivated person you constantly want to develop your skills. You are up to taking on new challenges and trying out newest top notch technologies.
• You are fluent in English, both verbal and written.
