Job description

Sine Engineering builds the technology behind reliable drone autonomy: communications, navigation, and control systems that enable coordinated multi-drone operations at scale. More than 200 UAV manufacturers rely on our technologies, and our solutions power many of the interceptor operations active today. Through our dual-use platform, we support civilian innovation while helping democratic nations strengthen their technological advantage.

Any drone. Any scale. Anywhere.

We build resilient communication, navigation, and coordination systems for the age of autonomy.

We are looking for an RF Hardware Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design of high-frequency and mixed-signal electronic devices. You will be involved in the full development cycle — from schematic design to prototyping and manufacturing support. This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and build products that matter.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineers based in Ukraine and should be eager to adopt established technical standards and methodologies from our core team.

We are seeking professionals in Finland who aspire to go beyond product development and contribute to shaping the world of tomorrow.

Key responsibilities
  • Schematic design of RF and mixed-signal electronic devices;

  • PCB layout design for high-frequency and mixed-signal systems;

  • Verification of designs through SPICE simulation, testing, and lab measurements;

  • Hands-on work with spectrum analyzers, VNAs, oscilloscopes, and other high-end measurement equipment;

  • Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation (schematics, BOMs, production files, test reports);

  • Support for prototype assembly and design transfer to manufacturing;

  • Collaboration with manufacturing partners to ensure DFM/DFT compliance.

What we require

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Experience in high-speed design with knowledge of SI/PI principles
  • Solid understanding of RF signal path design (e.g., transmit/receive chains, filters, matching networks)
  • Strong practical lab skills including test planning and signal analysis
  • Experience with modern EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad)
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in device certification such as CE, FCC and RED.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar project management and requirements management tools.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
What we see as a plus
  • Experience working in a global work environment.
  • Understand the principles of antenna design
