Job summary

VTT is seeking a Senior / Research Scientist to join the ProperTune ICME team to develop and apply multi-scale computational frameworks for metallic materials, linking microstructure evolution, crystal plasticity and damage across length scales. The role focuses on integrating computational modelling with experimental data (e.g.

EBSD, mechanical testing) to establish digital microstructure–property relationships and to predict lifetime performance.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Solid Mechanics, Physics, Computational Science, Applied Mathematics or related field.

Responsibilities
