Job summary

IQM Quantum Computers is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Espoo, Finland or Munich, Germany. You will install, maintain, and upgrade production software on our quantum computing platforms, providing Tier 2/3 support and collaborating with internal experts.

We value hands-on Linux administration, Docker, Python, and strong communication with customers and project teams. You will help automate processes and keep up with advances in quantum software and hardware.

Qualifications

• +5 years of experience in software support or sys admin role.
• Hands-on Linux administration and Docker container experience.
• Proficiency in Python and package management within virtual environments.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 support to customers after initial triage.
• Install, maintain and upgrade production software on quantum computers.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting via log analysis and replication.
• Collaborate with internal experts and communicate issues clearly to customers.
• Guide customers on control software installation and running quantum circuits.
• Act as system administrator for the software stack and automate processes.
