Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Data Centre experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Measure work packages from drawings and apply rates for package pricing.
• Manage the project budget as directed by the Project Director.
• Manage client communications and attend monthly commercial meetings.
• Compile monthly reports in accordance with procedure and attend subcontractor meetings.
• Resolve client/subcontractor disputes effectively and timely.
• Submit claims/notices in accordance with contract provisions.
• Document cost changes to the work scopes and prepare monthly valuations and final accounts.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a major data centre project in Finland. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of the project, taking ownership of cost control, subcontractor management, and client engagement.

As a senior member of the commercial team, you will lead on procurement, oversee multiple complex subcontract packages, and provide strategic commercial guidance to ensure project success. This is a key leadership role, requiring strong technical, financial, and people management skills.

Requirements

• Responsible for measuring work packages from drawings and applying rates to work up package pricing
• Manage the project budget as directed by the Project Director
• Manage relevant client communications
• Compile monthly reports in accordance with procedure
• Attend monthly commercial and subcontractor meetings
• Resolve client/subcontractor disputes effectively
• Timely submission of claims/notices in accordance with contract provisions

Skills, qualification & experience:

• 8+ years' experience in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
