Senior Project Controller — Profitability, Forecasting & ERP

Job summary

Metso is seeking a Senior Project Controller to set up and maintain project structures in ERP. You will partner with Project Managers to ensure accurate profitability, cash flow reporting, and intercompany pricing alignment across the organization.

You will own budgeting and monthly forecasts, provide deviation analyses, and support risk assessments while ensuring compliance with global processes and templates. The role also involves governance and training support for the Project Control team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a comparable controlling role.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for project structure set-up and maintenance in ERP.
• Work as a counterpart for Project Managers.
• Have project's end-to-end profitability & cash flow reporting and control responsibility.
• Ensure compliance and one set of numbers linking project financials with Metso P&L and balance sheet.
• Maintain accurate revenue, cost, margin, and cash flow follow-up and reporting.
• Follow-up on intercompany prices (transfer pricing).
• Responsible for budgeting & monthly forecasting process (including POC forecasting).
• Provide detailed deviation analyses of actuals vs. budget and forecast.
• Support project risk/red flag analysis.
• Ensure compliance with global processes, tools, and templates.
• Handle large and demanding projects (Senior level).
• Take part in project financial governance development.
• Support training initiatives and spar with Project Control colleagues.
