Job summary

Bluefors Oy seeks a Senior Production Quality & Development Engineer to drive manufacturing quality and process improvements across the production lifecycle. You will develop the PQM function, lead risk assessments, audits, and CAPA-driven projects, collaborating with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in design, manufacturing, mechanics, electrical/electronic engineering or similar.
• 5+ years in manufacturing/engineering and 3+ years in PQE or supplier development.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing technologies relevant to bluefors (mechanics, vacuum, electrical/electronics, RF, cryogenics).
• Experience with RCA, CAPA, Lean and LEAN methodologies.
• Strong project management, auditing, validation, and customer-facing quality reporting skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Lead Auditor is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process and product improvement initiatives across the production lifecycle.
• Develop and advance the Production Quality Management (PQM) function.
• Lead risk assessments and audits; drive KPI development and quality performance.
• Support supplier quality, customer quality, and cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance and product quality.
• Support FMEA, product validation, and engineering change management.
