Job summary

Remedy Entertainment in Helsinki invites applications for a Senior Performance Capture Artist to own and optimize capture pipelines. You will lead operation, maintenance, and data delivery from shoots to games, collaborating with narrative, animation, and external partners across multiple projects.

You will drive adoption of new capture solutions, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality results across on-site shoots in Finland with support for remote tasks where feasible.

Qualifications

• Real-time experience with performance and motion capture pipelines.
• Experience shipping games or films with full capture pipeline ownership.
• Strong working knowledge of DCC software (Maya/Blender/Max).

Responsibilities

• Own operation, maintenance, and debugging of capture systems (photogrammetry, 4D facial, optical and inertial capture).
• Deliver end-to-end capture data from shoot to game at high quality and schedule.
• Plan and run performance capture shoots with game teams; operate hardware during shoots.
• Evaluate and adopt new capture tools and methods, bringing them to production.
• Assess external partners/vendors; write specifications and integrate deliveries.
• Improve processes and documentation; maintain high-quality pipelines.
• Mentor junior staff and act as expert for complex capture issues.
