Job summary

Jones Engineering in Hamina, Finland, seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of complex projects from planning through commissioning. You will coordinate a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists to ensure on-time, on-budget results.

The role requires a track record of delivering mechanical projects (and preferably multi-discipline builds), strong communication, and solid IT skills. Healthcare project experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience post qualification.
• Relevant third level qualification essential (Mechanical / Building Services Engineering).
• Excellent IT skills essential and a good understanding of programmes including CSA activities.
• Proven ability to work both individually and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Prior experience in managing building services projects (medium and large scale).
• Experience in Healthcare advantageous, but not essential.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Proven record delivering Mechanical projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, on time and within budget.
• Experience of managing combined Mechanical / Electrical projects a distinct advantage.
• Commercially and contractually competent with a good understanding of project P&L.
• Proven ability to manage an existing core cross-functional team / develop the team.
