Job summary

Fiskars Group in Espoo or Billnäs, Finland, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to strengthen our power products manufacturing capabilities. The role is full-time, hybrid, with moderate travel, and reports to the Director, Manufacturing Engineering.

You will collaborate with suppliers and global partners on NPIs, drive DfM and DtC, and contribute to a resilient supply chain for power products, leveraging electronics and energy tech in a world-class consumer brand.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electronics, mechatronics or related field.
• Several years of experience in electronics, power products or consumer products engineering.
• Experience with injection molding, metal production and assembly is beneficial.
• Background in consumer power tools or battery technology is advantageous.
• Knowledge of software technologies is an advantage.
• Experience with suppliers and global partners on NPI projects.
• Ability to collaborate across cultures and functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier validation and help build a global supplier network by translating business requirements into manufacturing technology solutions.
• Drive Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Design to Cost (DtC) activities in new product development projects, ensuring efficient and competitive design solutions.
• Contribute to developing an efficient and resilient supply chain for power products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as external partners, supply chain, R&D, and factories.
• Support advanced problem-solving to improve product quality and performance.
• Actively develop manufacturing technologies with own factories and external partners.
