Job summary

Metsä Group Finance is looking for a Manager, Group Accounting and Reporting to join our Group Services team. You will play a central role in monthly management reporting and the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements and Interim Reports, while driving improvements in our reporting processes and tools.

This senior role coordinates group-wide reporting, partners with business area finance teams and auditors, and reports to the Director, Group Accounting and Reporting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• 5+ years in group reporting, financial accounting or controlling.
• IFRS knowledge and listedcompany reporting experience.
• Experience with consolidation tools (Oracle HFM).
• Strong presentation and communication skills to management and non-finance audiences.
• Analytical, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Fluent Finnish and English; advanced MS 365 skills.
• Experience with SAP/Power BI or other EPM tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reporting for Group Management Team with key figures and analyses.
• Analyze performance drivers, trends and deviations; perform ad hoc analyses.
• Prepare Annual Financial Statements and Interim Reports with team and Group Communications.
• Coordinate Group-wide financial planning and management reporting.
• Develop reporting processes, tools and controls; drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Group Finance, business area finance teams and auditors.
• Participate in development of consolidation systems with stakeholders.
