Job summary

Metsä Group is seeking a skilled Manager, Group Accounting and Reporting to join the Group Services finance team in Espoo. You will lead monthly reporting, prepare Annual Financial Statements and Interim Reports, coordinate planning, and drive reporting improvements.

The role requires IFRS expertise, consolidation tooling experience, and strong collaboration with auditors and area finance teams. The position offers a senior, non-managerial leadership scope with hybrid work and continuous

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• At least five years of experience in group reporting/financial accounting or controlling.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and listed-company reporting requirements.
• Hands-on experience with consolidation tools such as Oracle HFM.
• Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team under tight deadlines.
• Fluent Finnish and English; MS 365 skills; AI tools interest.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly group reporting for management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate Group-wide reporting and planning processes.
• Develop reporting tools, processes and controls.
• Collaborate with Group Finance, business-area finance teams and auditors.
• Contribute to consolidation system upgrades and change projects.
• Support management decision-making with analyses and scenarios.
