Job summary

Metso is seeking a Senior Manager, Special Logistics for the Central region, based in Espoo or Tampere, Finland. You will lead a six-person team, drive operational excellence, and coordinate with global stakeholders to ensure reliable deliveries for the central region (ECA & AFR).

You will report to the Director, Special Logistics, and play a key role in transforming processes, adopting digital tools, and delivering business growth with a focus on performance and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in logistics, supply chain, or delivery operations in international settings.
• Strong analytical mindset using data to drive decisions and improvements.
• Experience leading transformation and change management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a regional team of Special Logistics professionals.
• Drive reliable and compliant execution of regional logistics processes.
• Act as escalation point for delivery challenges and stakeholder coordination.
• Collaborate across functions to identify opportunities and remove barriers.
• Analyze performance data to identify risks and opportunities and drive improvements.
• Lead regional transformation initiatives and adoption of digital solutions.
