Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for our Helsinki, Finland site. The role covers strategic planning and management of all project logistics, from suppliers to on-site unloading, with a focus on on-time deliveries and cost control.

You will coordinate with the Mercury project team to maintain safety and efficiency and supervise site staff. Essential requirements include a proven track record in large-project coordination and at least 3 years as a Logistics Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large projects.
• A minimum of 3 years as a Logistics Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage all Project Logistics, from supplier/vendor to transportation to off-loading on site.
• Follow up and track site deliveries against the schedule using the PSR to ensure on-time supplier/vendor deliveries.
• Manage the operation of the site, scheduling and controlling all site deliveries.
• Implement a ticketing system for site deliveries and ensure no access is granted without prior notice.
• Ensure site security operates efficiently and that Sub-contractors follow the traffic management plan.
• Supervise, coach and train site staff and collaborate with internal and external partners.
