Job summary

SEB Global Services in Finland is seeking a Java developer to join the team responsible for the development and maintenance of a new Customer Data Management platform. The tech stack includes Java 21, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, MSSQL, JPA/Hibernate, OpenShift, GitHub Actions, and Maven.

You will collaborate in an agile scrum environment, contributing to backend and API development, with opportunities to work across the technology stack and grow your skills in a progressive financial technology

Qualifications

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot (back end).
• Experience working with APIs and / or driven applications.
• Familiarity with Angular would be an advantage.
• Team player in an agile scrum team.
• Interest in continuous learning and growth.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Customer Data Management platform.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of backend microservices using Java 21 and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with frontend, data, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement.

About the role:

As a Java developer you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of new Customer Data Management platform. We use: Java 21. Spring Boot, Angular, Apache Kafka, MSSQL, JPA / Hibernate, OpenShift, GitHub actions, Maven.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot (back end)
• Experience working with API’s and / or even driven applications
• Familiarity with Angular (front end) would be an advantage
• Team player, who works as part of an agile scrum team
• Interest in continuous learning and growth
• Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and fluency in both Swedish and English.
