Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead critical data and AI initiatives within the Hydro business area. You will manage a portfolio of parallel workstreams at 100% allocation for three months, driving data migrations, AI deployments, and governance across enterprise IT.

You will work with Databricks and Azure, shaping project scopes and delivering high-visibility outcomes in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of IT project management within enterprise environments.
• Experience leading data platform migrations.
• Basic knowledge of data architecture, governance, and structures.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive security clearance (SUPO/SÄPO).

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of data platform migrations and AI deployments.
• Coordinate stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure alignment with IT governance models and cyber security standards.
• Define scope, success criteria, and go/no-go decisions for steering groups.
• Oversee budgets, resources, and risk mitigation.
• Lead dual-run validation and operational handover to support teams.
• Maintain compliance with security and governance requirements.
