Job summary

Fazer is seeking a Senior IT Manager to lead HR and QEHS IT capabilities and drive AI transformation across the organization. The role combines HR technology leadership with enterprise-wide AI initiatives, reporting to the Director, AI, Data and Commercial, and is based at Fazer's Vantaa head office with a strong onsite focus.

You will oversee HR and QEHS tech solutions, collaborate with Group ICT and external partners, and guide the IT team as ICT Business Partner for HR.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior IT Manager to lead our IT capabilities for HR and QEHS while taking a key role in driving AI transformation and adoption across Fazer.

This is a unique role combining business-critical HR technology leadership with enterprise-wide AI transformation.

You will lead the technology solutions and services supporting HR and QEHS, while helping turn Fazer’s AI ambitions into practical initiatives and everyday ways of working.

Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

ICT Management for HR and QEHS – approximately 50%

• Own and develop the HR and QEHS application and service portfolios, including roadmaps, lifecycle management and technology solutions
• Ensure effective development and service delivery in collaboration with business stakeholders, Group ICT teams and external partners
• Lead the HR and QEHS IT team, developing the team’s capabilities and acting as ICT Business Partner for HR

AI Transformation – approximately 50%

• Drive AI adoption and agreed AI use cases across Fazer, working closely with the AI CoE to turn AI opportunities into everyday ways of working
• Develop Fazer’s AI operating model, governance and guidelines together with the AI CoE, ensuring alignment with security, data, architecture, legal and responsible AI requirements
• Maintain visibility of Fazer’s AI portfolio, connecting initiatives, promoting reuse and supporting AI awareness, capabilities and change across the organization

You will work closely with colleagues across HR, Group ICT, our AI CoE, business functions and external partners. The role suits someone who enjoys connecting technology, people and business transformation, and who is comfortable moving between strategic development and practical execution.

You will report to Director, AI, Data and Commercial and your location is Fazer's Vantaa head office, where we work mainly onsite.

To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:

• Proven experience in IT leadership and transformation, with the ability to turn evolving topics into practical action
• Experience in developing large-scale HR solutions, such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors, and managing applications and services throughout their lifecycle
• Hands-on experience in driving AI transformation and enablement activities, from progressing AI use cases to building adoption, capabilities and new ways of working
• Strong change management, stakeholder management and business partnering skills, with the ability to work across business, IT and external partners
• Experience in leading and developing teams, while being comfortable working in an evolving environment where not everything is predefined
• Ability to translate between business and technology, communicate fluently in English, and a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience
